Description

White Oak Exchange

Four systems. One application. Fifteen hours back each week.

tripleNERDscore built a custom Laravel application for White Oak Exchange’s animal mortality insurance operations. The platform replaces four systems and saves approximately 15 hours of staff work per week in the first launched vertical, while processing approximately $50,000–$500,000 in transactions each week.

White Oak Exchange serves farmers, ranchers, and insurance agents, with a team rooted in livestock and agribusiness. Its mortality insurance offering includes protection for livestock and horses. This project focused on the software behind that work: the application staff use to move insurance business forward.

Bring the work into one place

The brief was concrete: replace four systems with one application built around White Oak’s insurance operations. That meant connecting the workflows around customers, quotes, policies, and billing within a shared platform.

We built the application with Laravel, Vue, and Inertia. Laravel handles the application logic and integrations; Vue and Inertia provide the interface for working with that information. The codebase brings together quote and policy workflows, endorsements, renewals, claims, customer access, and reporting.

Ascend integration connects checkout and billing workflows with the application, including payment-status updates. Role-based permissions and audit history support staff access and traceability as records change. These are working application capabilities built around the insurance process.

Real transaction volume, less staff work

The first launched vertical is already saving approximately 15 staff hours every week. That gives White Oak’s team time back while the platform handles the operational work it was built to support.

As of October 23, 2026, tripleNERDscore reports:

  • Four systems replaced by the custom application.
  • Approximately 15 hours of staff work saved per week in the one launched vertical.
  • Approximately $50,000–$500,000 in transactions processed per week, including amounts of up to $250,000 at a time.
  • No reported downtime, security incidents, or staff complaints during operation to date.

The transaction figures describe business processed through the platform. The time savings apply to the launched vertical; they do not include the additional launches still ahead.

“Top of market”

The Ascend team working with tripleNERDscore described the platform as “top of market.”

That feedback sits alongside the results that matter to White Oak’s daily operations: fewer systems to work across, staff time recovered each week, and a platform handling substantial transaction volume.

One vertical live. Three more planned.

White Oak and tripleNERDscore plan to launch three additional verticals before the end of 2026. The next phase expands the platform’s use while the first vertical continues operating.

The results above are from the current rollout. We’ll update this case study as the additional verticals launch and their results can be measured.
